Alzheimer's Skin Patch Receives Approval
(Source: Marketwire) - The Exelon Patch has received approval in the United States. The patch treats mild to moderate Alzheimer's, using a skin patch instead of an oral capsule. This is the first approved transdermal treatment for the disease.


New Criteria for Probable Alzheimer's Disease
(Source: News Medical) - An international group of Alzheimer's experts has proposed new criteria for the diagnosis of the condition. They argue that existing criteria is out of date, due to unprecedented growth of scientific knowledge.
